Fuego’s Tortilla Grill has voluntarily closed due to salmonella. The College Station Mexican restaurant is not the first restaurant to have similar issues. The Brazos County Health Department is investigating reports of food borne illness. Thirty cases of Salmonella Typhimurium-Ohio serotype cases have been documented and most of those suffering are residents or visitors of Brazos County. Samples obtained from the restaurant have tested positive for Ohio strain of Salmonella. If you believe you may have a legal claim related to this outbreak, it’s advisable to consult with a personal injury lawyer to discuss your options.
