WINNERS OF THE TERRY BRYANT COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
2025 Winner
We are pleased to announce the winner of the 2025 Terry Bryant College Scholarship is Lillie Eichenlaub.
Lillie’s original song about the dangers of distracted driving showcases her outstanding creativity and musical talent. Despite facing considerable adversity during high school including losing her home in a fire, she graduated at the top of her class while shining on stage as a singer and actor. Lillie has also proven to be a natural leader who has committed the time and effort to help others.
We are honored to help this outstanding graduate begin her college journey at Texas Christian University.

2024 Winner
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2024 Terry Bryant Accident & Injury Law College Scholarship is Ellis Burrill of Port Aransas High School in Port Aransas, Texas.
Ellis will be using the scholarship to attend Texas A&M College Station and will be studying Business Management. Ellis was awarded the scholarship based on her creative video entry about safe driving, in addition to her outstanding academic record and dedication to athletics, community, and extracurriculars.

2023 Winner
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2023 Terry Bryant Accident & Injury Law College Scholarship is Nicholas “Nico” Brett of Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia. Nico will be using the scholarship to attend Reinhardt University where he will be studying Piano Performance. Nico was awarded the scholarship based on his great video on distracted driving/walking, in addition to his remarkable academic and extracurricular achievements. We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2022 Terry Bryant Accident & Injury Law College Scholarship is Lia Weiss-Gelmi. Lia attended Zeeland East High School and will be using the scholarship to attend Central Michigan University where she will be studying Music Education. She was awarded the scholarship based on her impressive video entry about driving safety, in addition to her excellent academic record and dedication to extracurriculars.

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2021 Terry Bryant College Scholarship is Leyna Pham of J. Frank Dobie High School (Houston, TX). Leyna will be using the scholarship to attend The University of Texas at Austin where she plans to study Neuroscience. She was given the award based on her exceptional presentation on distracted driving, in addition to her outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements.

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2020 Terry Bryant Scholarship is Isabella Hsu of Carnegie Vanguard High School in Houston, TX. Isabella, the valedictorian of her graduating class, will be using the scholarship to attend The University of Texas where she plans to study Business Honors. She was given the award based on her exceptional presentation on distracted driving, in addition to her outstanding academic achievements.

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2019 Terry Bryant Scholarship is Jessica Truong of Mansfield Timberview High School in Arlington, TX. Jessica, the salutatorian of her graduating class, will be using the scholarship to attend The University of Texas at Dallas where she plans to study Cognitive Science. She was given the award based on her exceptional presentation on distracted driving, in addition to her outstanding academic achievements.

2018 Winner
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2018 Terry Bryant Scholarship is Marissa Guzzo of Suffield High School in Suffield, CT. Marissa, the valedictorian of her graduating class, will be using the scholarship to attend Amherst College (MA) where she is planning to triple major in Economics, Psychology and Biology. She was given the award based on her exceptionally useful presentation on the dangers of distracted driving, in addition to her outstanding academic achievement and extracurricular involvement. She will undoubtedly help make the world a better place—already having contributed to important research projects at Harvard’s Dana Farber Cancer Center Institute and Yale University.

2017 Winner
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2017 Terry Bryant Scholarship is Alyson Neaves of Perry High School in Gilbert, AZ. Alyson, the valedictorian of her graduating class, will be using the scholarship to attend Arizona State University where she plans on majoring in mechanical engineering. She was given the award based on her exceptional presentation on distracted driving, in addition to her outstanding academic achievements.

2016 Winner
Our 2016 Winner of the Terry Bryant Scholarship is Taylor Meyer, the valedictorian of the Stratford High School (Houston, TX) Class of 2016, was recently named the winner.
the accident and injury law office of Terry Bryant will help Meyer fund her studies at Cornell University where she intends to major in chemical engineering.

2015 Winner
The first recipient of the Terry Bryant College Scholarship Program is Kaitlyn Morris of Fort Worth, Texas. Ms. Morris is a Senior with a 4.0 GPA. She plans to attend Baylor University in the Fall of 2015 with a major in Computer Science.
Ms. Morris’s essay related to the distraction of texting while driving. She wrote an eloquent assessment of the current issues relating to the tangible consequences of texting while driving.
