Attorney Chelsie King Garza

Chelsie King Garza is a Houston-based trial lawyer with a track record of success handling a wide range of serious personal injury and wrongful death claims, from trucking accidents to work injuries to product liability claims.

Whether Chelsie’s in the courtroom or with her two children, she pours her heart and soul into everything she does. Her commitment to her clients goes beyond the norm.

Chelsie’s upbringing reflects her adaptability and resilience. From the small-town charm of California’s Trona to the bustling energy of the New York/New Jersey metroplex, she learned to thrive in diverse environments. Her educational journey took her to the East Coast, where she completed her undergraduate studies in New Jersey and pursued law school in Washington, DC, before ultimately planting roots in Texas.

But Ms. Garza’s passion for justice doesn’t stop at the courtroom doors. She’s a champion for humanitarian causes, dedicating her time and expertise to pro bono cases that have left a lasting impact on Texas law. Her work on one such case led to a significant change in workers’ compensation regulations, benefiting countless injured workers and their families across the state.

Her impeccable reputation within the legal community has led to numerous appointments by local courts for ad litem work. She has been published and presented on numerous legal topics over the years, and served as a Committee Member, Co-Chair, Vice Chair, or Chair of several committees of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, Texas Women Rainmakers, and other organizations.

Beyond her legal endeavors, Chelsie is deeply involved in her community, fundraising for organizations like the Tahirih Justice Center, which provides legal aid to immigrant women and girls, and supporting the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation in honor of her son’s battle with IBD.

In every aspect of her life, Chelsie King Garza exemplifies dedication, compassion, and a relentless pursuit of justice.
