Obtained a policy limits settlement for a pedestrian who suffered a complex ankle fracture when struck by motorist turning at an intersection. Motorist failed to yield to the pedestrian (probably due to distracted driving), and client suffered fracture of medial malleolus of the tibia, and required extensive surgery and rehabilitation. We sent the client for a second opinion, which confirmed nerve entrapment in the foot, and recommended further treatment.
