Why Donating Blood Makes a Difference
One single donation can save up to three lives. Our blood contains plasma, platelets and red blood cells, each of which can be used by people in need of these components. Recipients who need blood and blood components include cancer patients, surgery patients and mothers who have lost blood during childbirth.
When you consider the small amount of time it takes to donate blood and the incredible benefits for donation recipients, you can appreciate just how important your efforts are.
What You Can Expect
Upon arrival to the donation location, you’ll give your ID and provide some basic information about yourself. You’ll also be given a brief health screening and answer a few questions. Your information is kept confidential.
You’ll give a blood sample before proceeding to the actual donation part of the process. Once the needle is in place, the process will take around 10 minutes. Then you’ll be given some snacks and drinks while you relax for another 15 minutes. You can then go about your day knowing that you have given a donation that will save lives.
Sign Up Today!
We encourage you to sign up early to make the process as quick and simple as possible. We are so excited for the opportunity to help others through our blood drive. Know that your donation will impact the lives of a donation recipient and that recipient’s loved ones.
We can’t wait to see you on July 12!
Appointments are encouraged.
You can reserve a spot by scheduling your donation.
