Truck driver suffered a crushed pelvis when large pipe being unloaded from his trailer rolled over him.
A large pipe was being loaded on a truck driver’s trailer at a yard to which he had been dispatched. The yard employees who were loading the pipe lost control of it during the loading process, and it rolled over the truck driver. The driver’s pelvis was crushed, and he suffered internal injuries.
The case settled prior to trial. The truck driver’s net recovery was $2,332,000.
