Neck and shoulder injuries resulting from 18-wheeler collision.
Obtained a policy limits settlement for the driver of a vehicle struck by a tractor-trailer on US59 (Eastex Freeway). The impact caused our client’s vehicle to spin out and hit the concrete median barrier, totaling her vehicle, and causing her to sustain injuries to her neck and left shoulder. Conservative treatment of both areas failed, and she underwent surgery, first to her shoulder, and then to her neck. The client works as a health care provider, so it was important that she recover so she could return to work. The surgeries were successful, but the client was left with residual pain and partial impairment, due to the severity of the injuries.
