Woman Killed When Driver Blows Through Stop Sign

According to authorities, police are still working to determine whether or not charges will be filed in connection with the accident.

April 6, 2019 – 7:40 pm: A woman was killed in an accident where another driver ran through a stop sign and hit her vehicle. The woman’s identity has not been made public at this time, and police are still working to determine whether the other driver will receive criminal charges in connection with the accident.

The crash took place near the intersection of Chantilly Lane and Rosslyn Road in Houston.

A Chevrolet Tahoe reportedly ran through the stop sign and hit the woman’s car on Saturday evening. Both vehicles involved in the crash ended up hitting a tree.

Police state that the driver of the car was taken to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her wounds and died. Police also report that the woman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Neither of those involved in the accident have been publicly identified, and there is no information available concerning the condition of the Tahoe’s driver. Investigation into the crash is still ongoing at the present time.
