Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Rollover Crash

According to the Houston Fire Department, a woman was pinned by her leg in the vehicle after the crash and had to be cut out.

June 3, 2019 – 9:30 pm: Two people were injured in a rollover crash that took place in the Texas Medical Center on Monday night. One woman in the SUV that rolled over had to be cut out of the vehicle by Houston firefighters who came to the scene.

The accident took place on the intersection of Holcombe Boulevard and Almeda Avenue.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. The woman was trapped in the SUV and had a leg pinned under the vehicle. A Technical Rescue team from the Houston Fire Department had to come onto the scene to lift the SUV from the woman’s leg.

The woman was taken to the hospital, along with one other person who was injured in the accident. Both are expected to survive, and neither has been publicly identified at this time.

The cause of the crash is still unknown, and investigation into the incident is still ongoing at this time. More information will be made available to the public as it comes to light.
