Two Harris County Deputies Injured in Crash

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, two twin brothers have been arrested on DWI charges in connection with the accident.

April 20, 2019 – 11:00 pm: Two Harris County Deputies were injured in a crash that was allegedly caused by two twin brothers. The brothers were James Bramlet and Joseph Bramlet, both 37 years old. One was driving a Ford F-150 and the other was driving a Hyundai at the time of the crash.

The Deputies were directing traffic around the site of a crash that had taken place earlier in the night. The brothers were passing in their separate vehicles.

One of the Deputies had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit. The F-150 stopped suddenly and was rear-ended by the Hyundai. The impact forced the F-150 into a patrol vehicle.

Two of the Deputies were injured in the accident. Both of the brothers have been arrested after the crash. Joseph Bramlet has been charged with felony DWI with a child passenger. James Bramlet has been charged with DWI and unlawful carry of a weapon.

The injuries to the Deputies were not serious. The accident is still under investigation.
