4 Hospitalized After An SUV-Sedan Accident on Tidwell Road

Four people, including an elderly man, have been severely injured after an SUV crashed into a Toyota Corolla on Tidwell Road near Shadydale Elementary School, in the Trinity/Houston Gardens in NW Houston.

July 22rd, 2018: The accident happened when an elderly man, driving a Toyota Corolla near the intersection of Sandra Street and Tidwell Road, had an accident with an SUV.  According to officials, the SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control.  The SUV was being driven by a 33-year-old man who was trying to make a right turn onto Sandra Street when it crashed into the Toyota.

The identities of the injured victims were not released, and authorities say the accident is under investigation.

EMS arrived on the scene shortly after the accident to administer medical help to the victims. It was also reported that the man driving the SUV and his two passengers were all injured in this crash.  They were transported to a nearby hospital.

The elderly man, who was the sole occupant of the Toyota vehicle, suffered life-threatening injuries. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

The conditions of the victims in this accident are unknown at the time of this report.
