Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Gulf Freeway Feeder Road

According to Houston Police, drivers are advised to avoid the area around the site of the accident for the next few hours.

May 10, 2019 – 12:00 pm: An unidentified pedestrian has been killed in a crash that took place along the Gulf Freeway feeder road on Friday afternoon. Police are still in the early stages of their investigation, and little information about the crash is available at this time.

The crash took place on the southbound feeder road of the Gulf Freeway, in front of a Spec’s liquor store.

The pedestrian killed in the accident has not been publicly identified at this time, and the driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian has not been identified either. As of 1:09 p.m. on Friday, Houston Police investigators were still en route to the site of the crash and drivers were advised to avoid the area.

The circumstances leading up to the crash and the cause of the accident are not clear at this time. Reports state that a car with heavy damage to the front was seen in a parking lot near the crash site.
The accident is still under investigation at this time.
