One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Upshur County

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the two-vehicle accident took place on Thursday morning.

April 4, 2019 – 8:00 am: One person was killed in a crash that took place in Upshur County on Thursday morning. Details are limited at this time, but investigation into the crash is ongoing.

The accident took place at the intersection of State Highway 300 (Gilmer Road) and Farm-to-Market Road 726 in Upshur County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Police have not commented on the circumstances leading up to the accident, and none of those involved in the crash have been publicly identified at this time. Police have stated that one person was killed in the crash, and two vehicles were involved in the accident.

It is unknown whether any charges will be filed in connection with the crash, and police do not comment on who was at fault in the accident. The site of the crash was closed down for some time while the investigation and cleanup of the area was underway.
