One Killed in Three-Car Collision

According to Houston Police, they are still investigating to see if alcohol played a role in the accident.

May 2, 2019 – 1:15 am: A three-car crash took place early on Thursday morning, killing one of the drivers. The cause of the accident is still unknown at the time.

The accident took place on Interstate 45 at Tidwell. A black Lexus hit a retaining wall, bursting into flames and running into an unknown vehicle. A Pontiac Grand Prix also hit the Lexus. The Grand Prix caught fire after the impact.

The driver of the Lexus was killed in the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Grand Prix was not hurt in the crash, and the driver of the third vehicle fled the scene.

It is unknown why the driver of the Lexus lost control of the vehicle. Police are still investigating to see if alcohol was a contributing factor in the accident. The driver of the Grand Prix did not show any signs of intoxication at the time of the crash.

Investigation into the crash is ongoing at the present time, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
