One Person Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash

According to the Texas City Police Department, there were about four to five cars involved in the crash.

April 22, 2019 – 4:00 pm: One person was injured in a crash that involved four or five vehicles in Texas City, Texas on Monday afternoon. The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
The accident happened on the Gulf Freeway, near Hughes Road in Texas City.

According to police, there were four or five cars involved in the crash, and Transtar cameras show several cars being damaged in the accident.

Only one person was injured in the multi-vehicle accident, and they were reportedly taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The names of those involved in the crash have not been made public at the present time.

The area of the crash was shut down for several hours, but the site was reopened for traffic by 8:52 p.m. on Monday evening. The cause of the accident is not clear at this time, but the crash was caught on Transtar cameras.
