January 6, 2019 – 11:00 am: An unidentified motorcyclist was killed after flipping over a ramp and being thrown from the motorcycle. Police report that the motorcyclist couldn’t be found at first, but was pronounced dead as soon as the body was discovered.

The accident happened at the I-69 ramp near Kelley Street. The motorcyclist was headed southbound along the exit ramp at 610. For unknown reasons, the motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle, flipping on the ramp and dying as a result of the crash.

Police have not commented on the cause of the accident, and at this time there is no indication that there were any other vehicles involved in the crash.

Traffic was blocked off or slowed in several areas around the crash site for a few hours. At first this was because the driver’s body had not yet been found, and later it was because the investigation into the crash made it necessary to block off traffic for a while.

The motorcyclist’s identity hasn’t been made available to the public yet, and the accident is still under investigation at this time.
