Motorcycle Police Officer Injured on Wednesday Morning

According to Houston Police, the officer only experienced minor injuries in the two-vehicle wreck.

April 3, 2019 – 5:00 am: A Houston motorcycle police officer was injured in an accident involving one other vehicle on his way to work on Wednesday morning. The other driver involved in the accident was hospitalized with back pain after the crash. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.

The accident took place on the North Freeway, near Shepherd. Information about the cause of the accident and the circumstances leading up to the crash has not been made public at this time.
Police closed off traffic along the freeway for about 30 to 45 minutes after the crash took place, while they investigated the accident and cleared the scene.
