Mother and Child Killed in Dallas Crash

According to police, the mother was pronounced dead on the scene, while her 6-year-old child died later in the hospital.

June 5, 2019 – 11:00 pm: Heladia Ochoa, 35, and her six-year-old child Santini Ochoa, were killed in a late-night crash in Dallas on Wednesday. Two people in the Ford F-150 that hit them were hospitalized, and the driver of the pickup will face two charges of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.

The accident took place near the intersection of Elam Road and Masters Drive.

Ochoa was in a 2004 Toyota Sequoia, making a left turn onto Masters Drive, when the F-150 hit her vehicle at a high rate of speed.
The Sequoia was forced into a traffic light pole and landed on its passenger side. The driver was critically injured, while Ochoa and her child were both killed in the crash.

The driver of the Sequoia and the two people on board the F-150 have not been publicly identified at this time. The driver of the F-150 will face criminal charges in connection with the accident.

The crash is still under investigation at the present time, and more information will be made available as it comes to light.
