Man Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash

According to police reports, the driver who caused the hit-and-run accident had been the victim of another hit-and-run just minutes before.

April 15, 2019 – 1:15 am: A man in a pickup truck was injured in a hit-and-run crash that took place very early on Monday morning in Houston. A pair of hit-and run crashes led up to the injury, and at least one of the drivers has been arrested.

The first crash took place near the intersection of Airline Drive and Gulf Bank. A Buick reportedly hit the back end of a pickup, and a Harris County deputy was able to stop the Buick when the driver fled the scene.

The driver of the pickup also fled the scene, hitting a white Nissan Maxima. The pickup’s driver then fled the scene and ended up hitting two poles at the Interstate 45 intersection.

At this point, the driver of the pickup tried to flee the vehicle on foot, but she was later arrested.

The passenger in the pickup has been hospitalized with serious injuries. No one else was injured in the series of crashes.

The accident is still currently under investigation at the present time.
