Man Injured When SUV Hits Gas Station

According to news reports, the man’s condition has not been made available to the public at this time.

 

January 9, 2019 – 2:00 pm: An unidentified man has been hospitalized after being struck by an SUV that hit a gas station in southeast Houston on Wednesday afternoon. Police state that the man was pinned between the wall of the gas station and the SUV that hit him.

The accident took place at a Valero gas station on the 400 block of El Dorado Boulevard, near the intersection with Eastscape Drive.

The man was pinned between the vehicle and the building. Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department report that he was conscious and breathing when they took him to the hospital.

The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and cooperated with police once they arrived. At this time, it is unknown if any charges will be filed in connection with the crash.

The crash did some damage to the outer wall of the gas station.

The condition of the injured man has not been made public at this time. The crash is still under investigation, as the cause of the crash is still unknown at this time.
