Two Juveniles Critically Injured in Gulf Freeway Crash

According to Houston Police, several lanes of the Gulf Freeway were closed down for a few hours while investigation into the accident was ongoing.

June 3, 2019 – 1:30 pm: Two juveniles were injured in a crash that took place in southeast Houston on Monday afternoon. The cause of the crash is still unclear, but investigation into the accident is ongoing at the present time.

The accident took place on the northbound lanes of Interstate 45 south at Beltway 8. The circumstances of the crash have not been made clear to the public at the present time.

The two juveniles were rushed to the Texas Children’s Hospital in critical condition. Their identities and the extent of their injuries have not been made public at this time. Current reports do not state whether the two injured juveniles were riding in the same vehicle or not.

Police shut down several lanes of the Gulf Freeway for investigation after the time of the crash, but the freeway has since been reopened in all lanes.
The cause of the crash is still unknown at the present time, and more information will be made available to the public as it comes to light.
