12-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Harris County Crash

According to preliminary reports, the child does not appear to have been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

April 11, 2019 – 11:30 pm: Five people were injured in a crash that took place Thursday night in Harris County. The most seriously injured of the victims was a 12-year-old boy who does not appear to have been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The accident took place on the 16000 block of Tomball Parkway in northern Harris County.

A 35-year-old woman was driving her Chevy Trailblazer with two children on board. At the time of the crash, she was either stopped or driving very slowly in the outside lane, headed southeast. Emergency lights were activated at the time.

Then a white Infiniti hit the back end of the Chevy. All three of the occupants of the Chevy were taken to the hospital, along with the driver and the passenger on the Infiniti.

Police are investigating the driver of the Infiniti for possible intoxication. None of those involved in the crash have been publicly identified at this time.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
