Child Injured After Being Pinned Under Vehicle

According to the Houston Police Department, the boy is expected to survive his injuries.

April 26, 2019 – 7:30 am: A boy was struck by a vehicle and pinned underneath it for some time on Friday morning. He has since been taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive his injuries.

The accident took place on the 1300 block of Receda Drive. The boy was hit by the vehicle at that location and trapped underneath it.

Houston firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after the crash. They were able to pull the boy out from under the vehicle and take him to the hospital, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

The cause of the crash and the circumstances leading up to it are not clear at this time. The driver who hit the boy has not been identified to the public at this time, and it is unknown whether the driver will face charges in connection with the accident. The boy’s identity has not been released to the public either.
