One Dead in Crash Involving Car and Motorcycle

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, medics pronounced one adult male dead at the scene of the accident.

May 13, 2019 – 11:45 pm: One man was killed in a crash that took place just before midnight on Monday night. The cause of the accident, which involved a motorcycle and an automobile, is unclear at this time.

The accident took place on the northbound lanes of State Highway 130, near FM 969 in southeast Travis County.

First responders arrived on the scene shortly after the crash, at which time they pronounced an adult male dead on the scene of the accident. There is no information available on the condition of the other driver involved in the crash.

The victim of the crash on Monday night has not been publicly identified at the present time. Police and EMS have not released any information about the circumstances leading up to the crash, the cause of the crash, or which of the drivers may have been at fault in the accident.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently investigating the crash, and more information will be made available to the public as it comes to light.
