Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident in Victoria

News reports indicate that the accident took place in Victoria, Texas, early on Wednesday morning.

August 29, 2018 – 2:24 am: Three people were injured in the early hours of Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision on the 2500 Block of Sam Houston and Mistletoe in Victoria.

According to the Victoria Police Department, a white Toyota Corolla and a blue Dodge Neon were headed in opposite directions on Sam Houston when the collision occurred. The Corolla was traveling northbound at the time, while the Neon was going southbound in the turning lane at the time of the crash.

The drivers of both vehicles, as well as a passenger in the Corolla, were trapped in their cars and had to be cut out of the vehicles when first responders arrived on the scene. Damage from the initial impact trapped all three in their cars, and they were all taken to area hospitals after the accident.

Victoria PD still has not released the identity or condition of any of the victims. There is also no word yet on the cause of the accident at this time.
