Six Injured in El Paso Crash

According to news reports, Wednesday night’s crash closed Horizon Boulevard in both directions for some time after the accident.

 

February 6, 2019 – 9:40 pm: Six people were injured in a crash that took place in El Paso on Wednesday night. Two of the victims experienced life-threatening injuries, while the other four were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The accident happened at the intersection of Horizon Blvd. and Bowdoin Drive, near Horizon City.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s office, Horizon Blvd. was expected to be closed in both directions for up to three hours after the accident. As of 4:50 am on Thursday morning, Horizon Blvd. had been reopened in both directions.

The identities of those injured in the accident and the circumstances leading up to the crash have not been made public at this time. The conditions of those injured in the accident have not been updated.

Police do not comment on who may have been at fault in the crash. The fault in the crash is not clear at this time.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the accident and will release new details as they become available.
