Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident

According to news reports, the man was hit by two vehicles, and both drivers fled the scene before police could arrive.

 

February 7, 2019 – 10:50 pm: A man was killed in east Harris County on Thursday night after being hit by two vehicles, the drivers of which both fled the scene before police arrived. Harris County deputies are still seeking the drivers.

The accident happened on FM Road 2100, near the intersection with North Diamondhead Boulevard.

Harris County deputies report that the pedestrian was standing in the northbound lane of the road when a car hit him. The car went off the road and went into a ditch. The driver fled the scene after that point.

While the man was lying in the road, a pickup ran him over. Deputies report that the pickup also left the scene.

Police have not identified the man who was killed. He is described as being a white man in his 20’s. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, and died Friday morning.
