Motorcyclist Killed in Crash With SUV

According to news reports, the motorcycle hit the passenger’s side of the SUV, which was making a left turn at the time of the crash.

 

February 14, 2019 – 5:30 pm: An unidentified motorcyclist was killed in a crash with an SUV that took place on Thursday afternoon in Montrose. The motorcyclist was killed, but no one in the SUV was injured in the accident.

The crash took place at the intersection of Westheimer Road and Stanford Street. According to investigators, the SUV was making a left turn into the intersection at the time of the accident. The motorcycle hit the passenger’s side of the vehicle.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, where he died soon after his arrival.

Westheimer was shut down for several hours after the crash, while cleanup and preliminary investigation into the cause of the accident was underway.

The cause of the accident is not currently known. Police have not commented on who was at fault in the crash. None of the identities of those involved in the accident have been made public at this time.
