December 8, 2018 – 6:00 pm: Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash involving a black 2004 Nissan Murano and a silver 2012 Dodge Ram on Saturday evening in Corsicana.

The accident took place at the east entrance of the Walmart on the 3700 Block of West Highway 31 in Corsicana.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the Nissan failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn into the parking lot, leading the Dodge to hit it.

Two occupants of the Nissan were hospitalized after the crash: Marion Elizabeth Reagan, 54, and Nanette Ami Nicholson, 58. Two occupants of the pickup were also taken to the hospital: Maria Torres Vega, 59, and Catalina Torres Juarez.

With the exception of Reagan, who was taken to Baylor Scott & White hospital in Waco, all of the victims were taken to Navarro Regional Hospital.

One of the victims had to be extracted from the vehicle, although news reports don’t identify which person it was. Air ambulances were reportedly wanted, but unable to help because of weather conditions.

The crash is still under investigation at this time.
