Rollover Crash in Clear Lake Area Ends in One Death

According to news reports, the victim was thrown from the vehicle and found dead on the scene of the accident.

October 17, 2018 – 2:00 am: One woman is dead after a single-vehicle accident in the Clear Lake area very early on Wednesday morning. The identity of the victim, a 44-year-old woman, has not been released at this time.

The accident took place on the southbound lane of the 14400 block of Village Evergreen, where the driver of an SUV lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle swerved and hit the curb, causing the SUV to flip. The woman was ejected from the SUV when her vehicle flipped, and she was dead by the time officers of the Houston Police Department arrived on the scene.

Investigators are uncertain of the cause of the accident at this time, as it is not yet clear why the woman lost control of her vehicle. However, Lt. Larry Crowson of the Houston Police Department told reporters that investigators would be performing checks to see if the woman was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

This early-morning accident is still under investigation at this time.
