One Dead After Wreck Involving 2 SUVs

According to news reports, the accident took place in southwest Houston early on Tuesday morning.

 

December 11, 2018 – 4:25 am: One unidentified person was killed in an accident involving two SUVs early Tuesday morning in southwest Houston. Others may have been injured in the crash, but information on injuries is not available at this time.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Fondren and the Beltway 8 feeder road, between an SUV traveling eastbound on the feeder road and another SUV going northbound on Fondren.

According to police reports, the SUV on Fondren t-boned the other vehicle. The cause of the crash is unclear at this time.

One of the vehicles involved in the crash flipped onto its side due to the force of the impact. The driver of the flipped vehicle was killed in the accident and pronounced dead on the scene.

Others may have been injured in the crash, but at this time it is unclear how many people were hospitalized.

As of 5:57 A.M. on Tuesday morning, the eastbound feeder road to Beltway 8 was closed at the intersection with Fondren. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
