One Dead, Two Critically Injured in Head-On Collision

According to news reports, one of the drivers was found with pills in his truck, and may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash.

 

February 10, 2019 – 1:00 pm: One person was killed and two were seriously injured in a head-on collision that took place in Montgomery on Sunday afternoon. The crash took place when a Dodge pickup crossed the center line and hit a KIA, leading to the head-on collision.

The crash took place in front of the Lone Star Cowboy Church, on the 21000 block of Eva Street in Montgomery.

The accident happened when the driver of the Dodge drifted out of his lane, smashing into the KIA. The KIA had four people on board. One passenger was killed, while the driver and a second passenger were hospitalized in critical condition.

The driver of the Dodge experienced some lacerations in the crash. He may face charges, because authorities reportedly found pills in his truck. It is unknown whether or not the pills directly contributed to the accident.

None of the individuals involved in the crash has been publicly identified at this time. The accident is still  under investigation.
