Brooksie Bonvillain Boutet is an accomplished personal injury lawyer with experience taking cases from pre-litigation through trial and arbitration. She is a member of the Houston Bar Association (HBA) and the Houston Young Lawyers Association (HYLA), to which she dedicates much of her time volunteering. She is currently a member of The Houston Lawyer Editorial Board and HBA Fun Run Committee. She is a co-chair of the HYLA Mentorship Committee.
Brooksie graduated from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, cum laude, in 2014. She is currently a member of the Dean’s Council. During her time at the Law Center, she served as the Student Bar Association president, Production Editor of the Louisiana Law Review, and a Moot Court Board member. One of her articles involving a Louisiana Supreme Court decision on conflicts between Louisiana and Texas law was published in the Louisiana Law Review.
Following graduation from law school, Brooksie clerked for the Honorable Timothy E. Kelley of the 19th Judicial District Court, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
When not practicing law, Brooksie enjoys training for triathlons and volunteering at the Houston SPCA.
