1. Contact the police and report your accident. Remember to get a copy of the police report after it has been filed. You may have to go to the police station to obtain it.
2. Collect information from witnesses of the wreck. Get names and phone numbers. If you have a camera, take pictures of the crash scene.
3. Visit a doctor even if you don’t think you’ve been injured. Injuries can sometimes take awhile to present themselves. Be sure to tell your doctor how the crash occurred.
